2017 – The Birthday and First Steps

Profinder was born as part of LeadDesk Plc. In the beginning, our focus was on consumer data – phone numbers, addresses, and who lives where. But it quickly became clear the world needed more. Maybe not full-blown startup romance just yet, but solid, efficient data expertise was already at play.

2019 – Juuri Partners Joins the Ride

Private equity firm Juuri Partners saw the potential and jumped in to help grow this data tiger into something bigger. Our team doubled in size, and our business data offering took a major leap – no longer just names and numbers, but truly intelligent targeting data.

Profinder was born when Juuri invested in LeadCloud, which acquired Fonecta’s data business. This merger gave rise to Profinder – a company offering broader data sources and smarter services. Agile and responsible product development, especially around intelligent data solutions, became our key focus for the future.

2020 – A New Name: Introducing Profinder

In spring 2020, we launched our new name and officially handed over the old corner office to a refreshed brand. The new name says it all – a Pro-level finder that connects the right decision-makers at the right time. At the time, we were still based on the 7th floor of Stockmann – an iconic spot where the coffee was strong and the elevator occasionally beat the Wi-Fi.

2024 – A Big Leap: Ilkka Plc & Summa Collective

In 2024, Profinder turned a new page, Ilkka Oyj acquired the entire company – a major step toward larger business ecosystems in marketing, technology, and data. At the same time, we became part of Summa Collective, Ilkka’s bold new marketing and tech house.

Summa? It’s more than just the sum of its parts. It’s a blend of data, creativity, technology – and a touch of Finnish sisu. Profinder brought 1,400 clients, 28 top talents, and €5.1 million in revenue to the collective (80% of which is recurring – thanks to our loyal license customers).
